Meet Lorrayn

Lorrayn de Peyer is an international artist who has performed and recorded all over the world. Her most recent album The Voice of Courage is available on Amazon and iTunes. Her work has been written about and reviewed in the American and British press and she has appeared on British and American TV and radio. A Daily Express reporter said Lorrayn left her “Walking on cloud nine” and The Boston Herald, USA described her as “A healer” with “practically nuclear energy”.

Producers, writers and musicians who have worked with her have also worked with Annie Lenox, Michele Legrand, Tom Jones, Chaka Kahn and Miles Davies amongst others.

Lorrayn has performed at The Savoy Hotel, The Barbican, The Jazz Pizza Express and many distinguished venues in the UK, America and Europe and has toured extensively in Europe, America, South East Asia and Africa.

Lorrayn is a joint honours graduate from Leeds University in Psychology and Sociology; a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation practitioner of many years experience and an expert in fields of Spiritual Psychology and Consciousness Training. Using this training and her singing and music Lorrayn helps people transform their lives to access greater levels of creativity, self-expression and personal power, health and well-being.

Over the last twenty five years she has led hundreds of workshops helping thousands of people find and develop their creativity, move through their fears and emotional blocks towards self-expression, growth and vitality. Time Out said of her workshops “Hundreds of people move through their insecurities and emotional blocks”.  She runs Inspirational Life Coaching Workshops privately and is also used by large corporations and organisations (Law firms, Hospital Staff Choirs, Digital Design Companies and Charities) as a Senior Trainer to help staff increase productivity, leadership, communication and fun.

Last year Lorrayn produced and directed  benefit concerts for The Samaritans, The Njase Association (a school in Zambia, Africa) and ARC, a charity for therapy and counselling based in Axminster her home town.

This year Lorrayn has launched a new band called Dark Sparkle as she decided after 25 years of facilitating other peoples creative process and self-expression it was time for her to go out and sing again herself.
