Dark Sparkle is a Vocal Covers Band that sings a combination Soft Rock, Indie Pop, Jazz Classics, Motown, R&B and Contemporary music styles.
With a combination of uplifting harmonies and mellow vocals the band is guaranteed to bring a shine to your event. The warmth and fun between the members is infectious and moving coming from a love of the music and a shared joy in singing.
Members of Dark Sparkle have been singing together for four years and with the recent addition of Ian Paul Raines can perform as a trio or quartette.
The Band is based in The South West of the UK and available to travel.

Lorrayn de Peyer is a seasoned singer and song-writer and the Musical Director of Dark Sparkle. She has a wealth of experience behind her and many years of performing in America, Europe and South Asia. She studied music at Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts; and in the UK has performed at The PizzaExpress Jazz Club in Soho London, The Pizza Express on Hyde Park London; The Savoy Hotel London; The London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane; The Barbican; and many other prestigious London venues.
Ian Raines is an experienced singer whose professional career has seen him record and perform live, everything from pop, rock, jazz and soul to gentle ballads. To date, he has appeared on six UK recorded albums and seven UK hit singles. In addition to being an accomplished vocalist he also plays guitar (six string & bass) and saxophone.
Laura Bridger has sung in local choirs and musicals since she was a school girl growing up in Somerset. She has performed in workplace choirs and been a committed member and one of the main soloists in The Taunton Pop-Rock-Gospel Music Choir under the Musical Directorship of Lorrayn for three years.
Ben Collinson first sang for fun as a boy in Sunday School Oldham, Lancastershire. He went on to form an Indie Rock Band as a student in Coventry before joining The Taunton Pop-Rock-Gospel Music Choir in Somerset where he met Lorrayn and has been a regular soloist for the choir during the last three years.
